This website is an excellent resource for all kinds of fantasy and science fiction information. It includes an A-Z author information list of webpages for over 200 authors, a comprehensive awards page, Bestseller lists, book review sites, fan- and e-zines, interviews, news, publishers, shared worlds, and writer's resources. This page is easy to navigate, not too cluttered with distracting ads, full of good content, and up-to-date.

Subtitled, "the guide for avid readers," Bookbrowser is a site dedicated to all types of reading. This site provides good genre fiction information, including fantasy. It is particularly good for information about authors, book reviews, and new titles. It also includes a great set of links called Reader's Resources that has author information, bibliographic resources, booklists and bibliographies, books in the media, conferences, for children, full text online, genre information, magazines, mailing lists and newsletters, organizations, publishers, RA professional information, and reading groups.

This is a reading list offered by Christian Fandom, an interdenominational group of fans of science fiction and fantasy. It includes a list of literature with some sparse annotations, a list of web pages, comic books, and non-fiction.

This webpage is a section of "The Reader's Corner" available from (http://www.autopen.com/index.shtml). This page is contains three main sections: "In the beginning there were fairies"- a resource for all sorts of information about fantasy works with fairies
"From the mists of time," - a sword and sorcery reading resource
"Not so long ago" - highlights include a detailed vampire reading resource, Victorian and Edwardian fantasy list
"Fantasy Reader's Corner" includes a great section on mermaids, a King Arthur resource, Sword and Sorceress, Space and Time.
This is a site with a great deal of content, but may be more difficult to navigate than some of the others, and many areas have not been updated recently.

This site provides very concise, informative reviews of many science fiction and fantasy books, organized by year. This site also includes a "best to worst" list which may be useful.

Includes reviews, news, links, and chat. One noteworthy feature of this site is its list of "Eternal Fantasy," which is a list of timeless fantasy classics. There are numerous reviews that are well written and not too verbose.

Internet Speculative Fiction Database.

This site indexes works in science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Database users may search by author, title, series, or year. The directories are particularly useful. The author directory is comprehensive and would be an excellent source of information. Also noteworthy is the list of forthcoming books, derived information such as the top 100 list and the most reviewed book list, and its extensive magazine contents list.

Of Sorcery & The Sword.

Consists of very well written, up-to-date fantasy and science fiction reviews. Books are reviewed and rated from Fair to Excellent. This is a good place for information on the sword and sorcery subgenre.

An excellent source of information on books of interest to feminists. This site provides numerous indexes (authors, women of color, lesbian writers, theme bibliographies, and young adult and children). This is also a good source of information about non-print sources. There are also special sections for writers and researchers. This would be a very good reference for feminist fantasy.
