Since publishing her first book, LM Montgomery opened to her readers a fascinating work of endearing characters and beautiful tales.  Many felt her stories should not have stopped with Anne's children or Emily's marriage.  Others love to pen their own tales of wonder in Avonlea or Harmony Village.  The Alpine Path was created to extend this magical world and allow others to add their own chapters in the live of Maud's infamous characters.
